Sleigh Bells - Bitter Rivals

Sleigh Bells has just released their latest video for the title track off their third LP, Bitter Rivals, out on October 8th. The track and video alike are superb and the perfect way to kick off new releases for fall! Sleigh Bells will be performing in Chicago to promote their LP on November 10 at the Metro. The Dust Up - Presented by Big Star & Metro

Delta Spirit, Metro Chicago, June 19th

I caught Delta Spirit this past Saturday. First off, if you haven't seen them yet, what are you waiting for? They recently just released the album History from Below. Matt Vazquez (lead singer) captured the audience, and had them eating from the palm of his hands. His passion for his music comes at out you like a ton of bricks. Singing most of the music from their new album, but ending the set with People C'mon from Ode to Sunshine album.

At the end of the show the gregarious Vazquez embraced the fans coming out in the hallway and shaking the hands of people as they left the show. I found that quite touching, you don't see that too often these days.
