White Rabbits has
proven to be more than just another Brooklyn-based indie rock band with their
successful March release of “Milk Famous”.
This third studio album provides a continuation of the band’s intriguing flair.
As I listen I try hard to imagine a specific scenario where their songs could
be perfectly applied to yet I realize there is versatility within the album.
Whether these songs provide an extra boost to your summer walk or lay the
background to a movie’s soundtrack, White Rabbits stick to a consistent formula
that goes well with almost any human experience.
Their persistent
rhythms and drum-orientated tracks will be heard live on Sunday at this year’s
Lollapalooza festival. They will return to Grant Park after having performed at
Lolla in 2007. I am excited to be in the presence of these talented and quirky
individuals. Tracks to check out: Heavy Metal, Everyone Can’t Be Confused, I’m
Not Me
