Passion Pit played to a sold-out crowd on Friday, April 2 at the Congress Theater, Chicago. Lead singer Michael Angelakos announced to the crowd that it was the largest venue they have ever played in and then he graciously thanked everyone for coming. The venue was packed wall-to-wall with fans. They jumped up and down as soon as PP hit the stage and continued jumping all the way to the end of the show. The rather rowdy audience crowd-surfed as the band played along with hit songs Sleepyhead and Little Secrets. One fan managed to surf right to the stage to dance with Angelakos. Passion Pit had a way to capture the young tween crowd from the floor level all the way up to the top balcony.
Don’t fret if you missed the Passion Pit show! They’ll head back to Chicago after they play at Coachella Music Festival. Mark your calendars for April 22 and get your tickets now!
