Entering the stage from the back of Schubas Trevor Hall makes his way threw the crowd onto the stage. Cheering fans chant "Trevor, Trevor, Trevor!" The laid back Trevor started singing while his dreadlocks swished back and forth. Trevor’s music no doubt has musical influences of reggae, which always make you think of Bob Marley. As Trevor says "You aren't a surfer unless you know Bob Marley." His songs are very in touch with nature, which is refreshing. His music has a way of transforming you so you feel like you are on the beach, and drinking a mango margarita. The venue favorites were “31 Flavors” and “The Lime Tree.” The rather modest Trevor is very personable and a free spirit. I had a chance to catch up with the band that opened for him Tomorrows Bad Seeds drummer Patrick that had nothing but kind words to say about him, saying, “Trevor is the man, and the nicest guy!” If you haven’t had a chance yet to check Trevor out he is still on tour and if you missed out seeing him in your town you can find all his enlightening music on iTunes.
