One of my favorite trends for fall/winter this year is neutral color-blocking. Mixing your grays, browns and blacks is so chic and simple and chances are you already own several pieces in these colors! Bundle up in a classic coat, some easy booties and a rich toned scarf (think emerald or oxblood) for a lush touch and the windy city never looked so good.

This year the Lolla weather forecast predicts fun in the sun with more rational temperatures than past years. This means that we can take advantage of layers (like true Chicagoans) and embrace cool nights of fun and dancing. Some key items I think every festival goer needs are: a rockn' crossbody, some statement sunnies, comfortable and cute shoes and a secret flask (like the one featured above from Cynthia Rowley), just to name a few. ;) Be sure to check out my other essentials above for Lollapalooza this year.
