Pitchfork 2010--What to wear? Who to see? Stic's one year anniversary

Pitchfork 2009 brings back many memories; the first one being the fact that is when I started Stic-of-the-Week. Yes, this marks the one-year anniversary when I thought, why not; I’ll start a blog. I went off the concept of loving fashion and music, and thought why not write about it? This has been quite the year for me, and I’ve had quite the bit of help from friends and family who I couldn’t have come all this way with out them.

Now back to business, what to wear? What bands do you have to check out? I’ve got the answers!

Let’s face it, Chicago summer is hot and humid, it’s sometimes hard pulling the look completely together. Of course you are sitting in the hot beating sun all day to make matters, well sweaty. Take the above inspiration, a lightweight off-white dress that lets air will go through easily, and of course don’t forgot the sunglass and hat to protect you. You can’t go wrong with a flip-flop, and then of course the key to this outfit looking amazing is the subtle accessories she chose.

I don’t know about you all? I’m a little obsessed with the whole jean concept, this whole craze started last year. Now you are seeing the jean vest cut off’s. Jean shirts, jean shorts…jeans jeans jeans!!  This simple outfit paired with bright orange sandals is just well put together. I love the concept of just throwing on the jean shirt instead of a sweater.

Dude! Check out that hair! This guy is just great, I don’t know if it’s the guy passed out in the background with what appears to be a paper mache rhino or what? I’m loving the polka-dot tank, and the ripped skinny jeans. Rock on dude!
