Shakira Covers The XX's "Islands" at Glastonbury
Skakira covers The XX's Islands at Glastonbury, you you heard right and can even watch the YouTube video for proof. This is just so amazing to me that a large artist like Shakira is covering a small indie band like The XX. Be sure to check out The XX at Lolla in August if you haven't heard them yet.

The XX
The XX band from London, have such unique and relaxing sound, you can't help but be put in trance from listening to there impeccable sound. They are playing here in Chicago for a sold out crowd at Bottom Lounge on Dec 1st. Also released this week they will playing at one of my favorite music festivals, Coachella in April 2010.
