If the answer is nothing, swing by Nothin' Less, a coffee shop on Milwaukee in Logan Square, for an awesome open mic.
I went for the first time last week and played a song on my ukulele.  There must have been 30-40 people crammed into the space, and everyone was silent.  People read slam poetry, dramatic monologues, and played music.  The best part?  It's a coffee shop, so there aren't any drunk people talking too loudly, which happens at all the open mics that are held at bars.
The open mic starts at 8:30 and goes until about 11, so arrive before then to sign up and strut your stuff.
