Mario Tricoci & vitaminwater® Let “Fashion Take Flight” on the Runway

Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas and vitaminwater® -- in partnership with Michigan Avenue magazine -- will once again present one of the headline shows during Fashion Focus Chicago.  Mario Tricoci & vitaminwater® Present Fashion Takes Flight will take place on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Millennium Park Tent, Chase Promenade North.  The runway show will feature collections from some of Chicago’s leading designers and serve as the conclusion to the fifth annual Mario, Make Me a Model competition. 

“Fashion Focus Chicago has been such a force in showcasing the tremendous style, creativity, and energy of our local design community,” said beauty and style innovator Mario Tricoci.  “We are excited to partner with vitaminwater® once again to help place that talent front and center with our headlining show.  We promise a night of high fashion -- and also of high competition as our Mario, Make Me a Model finalists take the runway for their final challenge.”

CBS-2 Chicago’s Kate Sullivan will kick-off the show, which will feature collections from Chicago designers Azza, J. Cheikh, C. Dahlstedt, Imaginary People by Olivia Shanks, and Shelby Steiner.  The winner of Mario, Make Me a Model will be revealed at the end of the show, after the competition’s five finalists have completed their last challenge walking the runway among professional models.
