Passion for Passion Pit

Passion Pit has been on the map for several years, I remember first seeing them in April 2010 to a sold out youthful crowd at the Aragon, and the singer Michael Angelakos announced to the crowd it was the largest crowd they have ever played for; even if memory serves me correctly, their show was originally set at a smaller venue in Chicago. It’s always refreshing to see bands grow so rapidly, and gain a fan base quickly. Since then the band has only grown and played at huge music festivals, and this year will be playing Lollapalooza in Grant Park, Chicago. After a long wait for fans, the guys are releasing a sophomore LP album on July 24th entitled Gossamer. Take a listen to their single Take A Walk here. With popular songs like Sleepyhead, and Little Secrets it will be very interesting to see what the band has up it’s sleeve for their new EP. La la Lolla, here I come!
