A Lioness

I just really can't get enough of the Lioness: Hidden Treasures album. Many of the tracks polished and refined by close friends Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi really do seem like some of the best that Winehouse could have every recorded. It is also amazing to see some older tracks in a completely different light such as "Tears Dry" in its original version. Somehow the track sounds even MORE like Motown than when "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" is the backdrop for it on Back to Black!!! There are some great jazz standards including "The Girl From Impanema", and "Body and Soul" (her duet with Tony Bennett), and I've been listening to the album constantly. It's so glad to see Amy become alive again through her music.
