CMJ MUSIC FEST 2011 was this past week (October 18th-22th), and with it brought some awesome bands that broke out, and some amazing after-parties that continued the rocking out!
Host SPIN featured Nicole Atkins, Active Child, Class Actress, and DOM. Along with group Body Language, who was featured twice on the SPIN line-up (…meaning you should watch out for these guys!!!)

Word on the street is that Tell All Your Friends, Big Hassle, and Paste all hosted some extremely kickin' parties for the occasion as well.
Be sure to visit the Discover CMJ website, it's filled with a ridiculous amount of bios, videos and music from upcoming acts such as The Stepkids, EMA, Slowdance, and The Alabama Shakes. Hope to see some amazing acts like this in Chicago ASAP!!!
