Power Food for Music Festivals

The girls at Lollapalooza 2010
With Pitchfork this weekend, I wanted to share some foods that us SOTW staffers find ourselves cramming our purses full of so we are all powered up for days in the hot summer sun.

Kashi is just a great brand all around, these granola bars are great first off because they won't melt in you bag, and they are filling. Not only all that but Kashi uses all natural incrediants, which is good all around.

Not only does coconut water taste good, but its the best source to stay hydrated! You don't want any passing out in that 90 degree weather!

Yeah just regular old almonds do the trick too, these are known to keep you feeling filled up. Normally websites always say get the unsalted, but for music festivals go with the salted as your body sweats so much that it will do you some good to have some sodium!
These bars, are all natural, and taste amazing! Energize up!

Be Happy, Be Healthly
Eggs

Start the morning off right with high protein, eggs and greek yogurt are a great source! I normally just have one or the other, but for a day filled out in hot sun, knock that dose up to both!
