Move over Joshua Radin, Chicago has a musician named Matt Ryd. You may have heard Matt’s song “Healed” on the TV show “Scrubs?” Matt is truly one talented musician, with some incredible pipes! When listening (what I’m doing now) to the Looking For Home album, every song has such astonishing sound, and has lyrics you can relate too. His words are poetic, and you are instantly hooked to his music. Ryd's voice has a way of putting you at ease from a hectic day. My favorite song on the album would have to be “Lie To Me,” I really like the use of all the different instruments he implemented.
