Distinctive acoustic energy, Adam Percy

I caught Adam Percy at Rockit Bar & Grill opening for Andrew Belle last week. His distinctive acoustic energy sets himself apart from other musicians and you can't help but to be drawn into the melody. He left his teaching job in Arizona to move back to Chicago and pursue his music career.  Adam was chosen to play with a showcase of bands during SXSW in Austin later this month.

Between songs he joked that his lyrics were often about girls and admitted to being shy and blushing when talking to them.  Hear that ladies? A guy that strums the guitar and is shy around the ladies…next time you see him, be sure to give him a wink.  If you are not able to make it down to Austin, don't fret, Adam will be playing shows in Chicago on March 10th and 24th at the Elbo Room, then again at Schubas on April 5. In the mean time, download his tracks off iTunes.
Upcoming Shows:
3/10: Elbo Room, 8:00
3/18: Chupacabra Cantina, SXSW, 9:00
3/24: Elbo Room, 8:00
4/5:  Schubas, 8:00
4/11: Uncommon Ground, Clark, 9:00
